It is proposed to build a permanent Police Station hill immediately

the old Village of Tai-pai-lat, the ground here is reserved in the event of its being at any

Battery, a sufficient space to ft above the sea being levelled for the purpose. The rest of the Hill with be cut dorrns for filling

in the Marine Low.

The building being in so very prominent a position it has been necessary to prepare a design which will present a better appearance than the Police Stations genually erected - The modation required is for 1 European Inspector, 1 European Jagian 2 European Constables, 1 Indian Sergeant,

1 Chinese Sergeant,

8 Indian Constables.

The Estimates for 1865 made due provision for this

proposed outlay.
